A team of STEM Ambassadors, including two Ivybridge Community College Alumni apprentices from Babcock, came into College today to host an interactive Lean Manufacturing Challenge with a group of our Year 10 students, which focussed on learning about the lean manufacturing processes which go on at Babcock.
In addition to connecting with a key local employer and enhancing their team-building skills, students also learnt the following with regards to the lean manufacturing process:
Understanding that a systematic review of a process

Recognising that some parts of a process add value

Developing a good understanding
|
