Sergeant Liam Quinn (pictured) visited our Year 9 students recently to deliver a year group assembly on careers and opportunities in the Royal Air Force.
He then met with a group of Year 9 and 10 students for an in depth Question and Answer workshop where he chatted to students about his own pathway into the Forces via a Uniformed Protective Service course, his progression through Phase One and Two Training before entering the Air Corps Unit.
He explained the many different roles of the RAF, including ‘Being a Force for Good in the World’, and talked about the different entry levels into the Force, including Apprenticeship pathways and degree sponsorship via University Air Squadrons.
