Ms Hughes (pictured below) and Mr Armitage accompanied a group of students on an employer visit to the Plymouth Citybus Plymouth Depot. 

The visit started in the Plymouth Citybus Head Office, where students learnt about the history of the bus network which replaced the existing tram system in Plymouth, and found out how live issues on the bus network were tracked and dealt with in the current control centre. 

They then visited the staffing area where bus drivers collect their timetable allocations and are assigned a bus for their shift, and finished with a tour of the engineering and mechanics centre.
