(Please note - some Work Placement providers may require you to complete and submit a copy of their application form in addition to the letter)

Work Experience Opportunities at Collins Aerospace
Collins Aerospace offers nine ‘design and make’ work experience placements in Engineering over a three-week period each year (three placements a week for three weeks).
This is open to Year 10 students who should apply by email stating the following:
Their favourite subjects
Expected results
Career aims
Hobbies and interests
and explaining why they would want to work for the company
Each application will be considered on the basis of whether a student will add value to the business and benefit from this intensive placement.

Phase 2 – Application for In-person Work Experience with the MET Office
Following completion of the online programme on Springpod, you are then eligible to apply for a second phase of work experience - a two to three day in-person placement, for which limited places are available.
Applicants for in-person work experience placements at the MET Office need to submit the work-based assignments that they completed during their online work experience with Springpod.
These assignments are reviewed during the first stage of shortlisting.
