London Gallery Visit
Art and Photography students from Years 10, 11, 12 & 13 visited The Tate Modern, The National Portrait Gallery and The Tate Britain in February to undertake contextual studies work.
Students were encouraged to take photographs, notes and observational studies whilst in the galleries. We were all blown away by Turbine Hall in the Tate Modern as it had been transformed into an immersive experience, challenging our perceptions of time and space by a spectacular choreography of acoustics, sound lighting, flying objects and film. Both the weather and the students were fantastic; a very long but great day had by all.
