Tutor Groups from across the Year Group have been participating in a variety of activities, raising funds for local, community organisations including Gables Farm, Devon Freewheelers and Project 35.

Staff and students had the opportunity to sample some sweet treats, courtesy of several cake sales, and these included homemade snacks as well.

Meanwhile, many others were making some extra space in their wardrobes by donating  pre-loved clothing to the Thrift store, giving their peers an opportunity to pick up a bargain as well as new, additional fashion accessory.

In keeping with the sports theme for Project 35, keen student footballers took on a staff goalkeeper in a penalty shootout competition, whilst others raced on the rowing, running and cycling machines as part of a Jail Break challenge, collectively covering a distance of 29.5 miles.

Gables Farm is a rehoming centre for dogs and cats based in Plymouth, whilst the Devon Freewheelers are a voluntary group delivering a variety of urgent medical equipment and accessories to NHS services on their famous blood bikes.

Project 35 is a social impact project set up by Plymouth Argyle Community Trust and Ginsters aimed at tackling poverty in the city.
