Devon Schools Football Double!
The Ivybridge Community College’s Under 13 Girls’ Football Team are celebrating, having recently completed a remarkable double by now winning the Devon Schools Under 13 Girls’ Cup.
This makes them a double winning side, another Girls’ Football milestone, having already won the FA National Under 13 FUTSAL Schools’ Cup.
Dave Leonard, Football Coach, said, “Their achievements have been nothing short of remarkable. I am very proud of their commitment and attitude to become not only the best in Devon, but the best in the whole country for their age. Well done girls!!”
Continuing with the fantastic footballing achievements at the College are the Under 12 Boys’ Football Team who have won the Devon Schools Under 12 Boys’ Cup, defeating Colyton 6-1 in the final.
“I am very proud of the boys’ achievements to become the best School Team in the county. Their attitude and commitment this year has been excellent,” said Dave Leonard.
