Positive support to stay Safe, Strong and Free
CAP UK – the Chid Assault Prevention group are visiting students in Year 8 after the Easter break and helping them learn about healthy and unhealthy relationships.
Each Tutor Group is having a 3 hour session with the specialised CAP staff. This is a programme that offers education, guidance and support by giving students positive messages on how they can protect themselves. The workshops provide students with the ability to recognise unsafe situations and the confidence to act on them so that they can stay safe, strong and free. Last year a Year 8 student commented that the sessions made her “feel strong and confident to act should she need to in the future.”
