Exeter Open Meet Swimmers Achieve Fantastic Results
A strong team of nine swimmers made an immense impact, collecting twenty one medals which included seven Gold at the Exeter Open meet at the Plymouth Life Centre between 7 and 8 October 2017.
Eight members of the team currently attend Ivybridge Community College. Those gaining medals were Ella D'Cunha in Year 10, who achieved a Bronze medal in the 200m fly and Jasmine D'Cunha in Year 7, who gained a Gold medal in the 50m Breast and four Bronze medals in the 50m back, 100m breast, 50m fly and 100m fly.
Also among the medal winners was Cole Haigh in Year 10, achieving three Gold medals in the 50m back, 100m back and 200m back, three Silver medals in the 50m fly, 50m free and 100m IM and one Bronze medal in the 50m breast.
Vikki Wilkins in Year 11, Millie Tout in Year 8, William Green in Year 12, Madison Oman in Year 7 and Thomas Jones in Year 7 also participated in the competition and attended with Aaron Rickhuss, Dinnaton’s new Head Coach and English International Swimmer.
