Head of Year 7 donates her hair to Children's Cancer Charity
Head of Year 7, Miss Charlotte Hanton, took the decision to have her long locks cut off! Consequently, on Saturday, 9 September, the hairdresser made two plaits and then cut off twelve inches of her hair.
When Miss Hanton had made the decision to have a new hairstyle, she especially made sure that her golden locks were in tip top condition, as she intended to donate her hair to the children’s cancer charity, the Little Princess Trust.
On Thursday, 21 September the Little Princess Trust will hold a ‘Chop to your Chin Day’, where they have teamed up with GHD to increase hair donations, as part of the September Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
