Musical Delight

On Saturday, 15 July the audience of ‘A Cabaret Variety Performance’, by The Musical Theatre Group were transported across to the West End in London, to be mesmerised by an array of musicals. These included: -

 The Book of Mormon

 Hamilton

 Legally Blonde

 Miss Saigon

 Billy Elliot

 Jersey Boys

 Into the Woods

 Les Misérables

 Little Shop of Horrors

Each performance was a sheer delight and showcased each student’s talents - musical, acting, dancing.

Thirty-five students either performed or provided superb technical support, with some key members continuing their passion for performance, when they start University next year.

These are: -

Emma Anderson, Year 13 - Emma has recently passed an audition to be a performer at Disneyland Paris but is also considering an unconditional offer at Plymouth University on their BA Dance course.

Rachel Seymour, Year 13 - In September Rachel is hoping to move to Bournemouth University to study Events Management.

Eden Orchard, Year 13 - Eden is excited to accept an unconditional offer with Plymouth University, studying Theatre and Performance.

Leah Hulcoop, Year 13 - Leah is looking forward to accepting her unconditional offer with Plymouth University, studying Theatre and Performance.

Former student Drew Bales was both compere and charismatic performer of ‘Taylor the Latte Boy’. Drew is currently undertaking a BA Acting course at East 15 Acting School.
